Former Ukrainian Defense Minister Andriy Zagorodnyuk warned Kiev not to "overestimate its ability to fight against Russia."

"Ukraine will win, however, we need to complete those plans with ally countries and get the equipment we've been promised," he said in an interview with CNN on Saturday.

The news comes after the Pentagon in late May announced that about 20 countries have already pledged new security assistance packages for Ukraine to help the country in its fight against Russia.
