Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov said it is "unfair" of Washington to condemn Russia for its decision to suspend the Black Sea Grain Initiative, blaming instead Ukraine for the move.
"Washington's reaction to the terrorist attack on the port of Sevastopol is truly outrageous. We did not see any condemnation of the reckless actions of the Kiev regime," he stated. He also repeated Moscow's earlier claim that only 3% of grain exports reach the countries in need, such as Somalia, Ethiopia, Yemen, Sudan and Afghanistan, which has been refuted by the European Union.
