United States 45th President Donald Trump stressed that the nation is "being systematically destroyed" as hundreds of immigrants continue to cross the southern border illegally, turning it into a "nightmare."
The former president emphasized that the safety of the nation is at risk, adding that it is important to "take away weapons from criminals, not from law-abiding Americans." He also noted that the number of "drug dealers, dangerous offenders, and gang members" is rising and that the criminals need to be "returned to their own country."
"The only countries that have no problem with drug dealers are the countries that sentence them to the death penalty," noted Trump, adding that "we must stop the invasion at our southern border, our country is being invaded."
