China's Foreign Minister Qin Gang will likely pay a "reciprocal visit" to Australia in July, South China Morning Post wrote citing sources close to the Chinese government.

In December, China's then-foreign minister Wang Yi met with his Australian counterpart Penny Wong in Beijing in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, marking it the first visit by an Australian foreign minister to visit China since 2018.

On May 11, Australian Trade Minister Don Farrell arrived in China for a three-day visit where he will meet with his Chinese counterpart Wang Wentao on Friday.
