The Swiss Producer and Import Price Index rose by 0.1% in March compared to the previous month, landing at 106.8 points, the country's Federal Statistical Office reported on Monday. The Producer Price Index increased by 0.1%, while the import price index remained unchanged compared to February.

Higher prices for cocoa and chocolate products, as well as processed tea and coffee, were largely responsible for the increase in the Producer Price Index compared to the previous month, while petroleum products observed a decline.

On an annual basis, producer and index prices dropped 0.1% compared to the same month in 2024.
