The White House denied it discussed settlement annexation plan with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, AFP reported on Monday. Netanyahu stated earlier today that he had been talking about legislation related to annexation of settlements in the West Bank with the United States.
"Regarding the issue of applying sovereignty, I can tell you that I have for some time been speaking with the Americans about it," Israeli prime minister stated according to a spokesman.
Secretary General of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) Saeb Erekat reacted to the statement, calling the annexation plan "land theft" with US complicity.
