Wall Street closes in red amid data

Major stock indexes closed the last session of the week in the red territory, as traders assessed the latest reports on industrial production and consumer confidence released earlier in the day. In business, Boeing Co. instructed airlines to check cockpit seats after the LATAM Airlines incident. Additionally, it was reported that social media TikTok reached a revenue of $16 billion in the US in 2023.

The Dow Jones lost 0.49% or 190 points at close, as Salesforce Inc. declined by 2.96%. The Nasdaq 100 dropped 1.15%, with Adobe Inc. plummeting 13.67%. The S&P fell 0.65%, and Jabil Inc. plunged 16.49%.

The euro gained 0.06% compared to the dollar at 3:58 pm ET, going for $1.08891.
