Wall Street higher in premarket ahead of holidays

Major stock exchanges in the United States traded higher in the premarket on Monday with investors ready to wrap up the trading week earlier ahead of the Christmas holidays. Later today, at the opening bell, Palantir, MicroStrategy, and Axon are set to join the Nasdaq 100 Index. Meanwhile, in data, the report on the country's consumer confidence will be released.

The Dow Jones gained 0.14% at 4:15 am ET. At the same time, the Nasdaq 100 rose 0.51% and the S&P 500 increased 0.36%. The euro traded 0.11% lower against the dollar at 4:16 am ET, going for 1.04182.
