US stock futures edged higher on Tuesday as investors braced for key retail sales data and the start of the Federal Reserve's September policy meeting.
At 4:30 am ET, the Dow Jones gained 0.14%, the Nasdaq 100 added 0.35%, and the S&P 500 rose 0.21%.
The euro was flat against the dollar at 4:29 am ET, selling for $1.11337.
