Webb telescope captures Pillars of Creation landscape

NASA JAMES WEBB SPACE TELESCOPE

NASA revealed on Wednesday the latest pictures taken by its James Webb Space Telescope, showcasing a photo of a highly detailed Pillars of Creation landscape where new stars are forming of gas and dust.

The new look on the Pillars of Creation is expected to help scientists learn more about how stars are formed from these dusty clouds. The scene shown in the picture was initially imaged in 1995 by NASA's Hubble Space Telescope.

However, Webb's Near-Infrared Camera (NIRCam) has enabled much more detailed pictures to be taken from space. The uncompressed version of the photographs showing the landscape is available on NASA's website.
