Ripple (XRP) has overtaken Solana (SOL) in market capitalization following a week of intense trading activity and renewed investor confidence. XRP's market cap surged past $117 billion on Sunday, solidifying its position as the fourth-largest cryptocurrency, with Solana trailing at $111 billion.

This growth was driven by a combination of whale activity, optimistic regulatory developments, and anticipation of Ripple's RLUSD stablecoin launch, expected on December 4. Moreover, XRP's trading volume hit $18 billion in the last 24 hours, signaling heightened market interest.

As of 2:48 pm ET, XRP rose 8.85% to trade at $2.12. Bitcoin saw a modest 0.59% gain, trading at $97,039, while Ethereum dipped slightly, down 0.16% to $3,700.49.
