Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Tuesday expressed his disappointment that there is no time frame for the invitation and Kiev's membership in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).
"On the way to Vilnius, we received signals that the wording without Ukraine is being discussed...Unprecedented and absurd," Zelensky ranted in a Telegram post, adding that NATO is considering "conditions" for inviting Ukraine to join the alliance. "Uncertainty is weakness," the president emphasized.
"This means that there is still an opportunity to negotiate Ukraine's membership in NATO - in negotiations with Russia. And for Russia, this means motivation to continue its terror," Zelensky stressed.
