Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Sunday that 31 people have been killed and another 80 injured in Russia's missile attack on Sumy earlier in the day.
Zelensky called on the international community to pressure Russia to "end the war and guarantee people's safety," warning that only pressure and "proper support" for Ukraine can help bring the conflict to an end.
"It is already the second month that [Russian President Vladimir] Putin has ignored America's proposal for a complete and unconditional ceasefire. Unfortunately, they there, in Moscow, are sure that they can afford to continue killing. We need to act to change the situation," the Ukrainian president claimed in a Telegram post.
