Zelensky: Blinken's visit very important signal

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Thursday after a meeting with Antony Blinken that the United States secretary of state's visit to Kiev is "a very important signal that the US is with us."

"For us this is a guarantee that we can return our territories and our land," Zelensky added. During the two officials' meeting, Blinken assured Zelensky that Washington will support his country in its war with Russia "for as long as it takes."

Ahead of his visit to Kiev, the US top diplomat announced Washington approved military aid worth $2 billion to Ukraine and 18 other European countries, as well as an additional $675 million in military aid to Ukraine alone.
