Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Thursday that there is no possibility of truce negotiations until Russia withdraws all its troops from Ukrainian territory.
"We had a cease-fire. We were sitting at the table with Russia. ... It didn't work Zelensky stated in an interview with Nikkei. When it recovers strength after the latest fight, "Russia will come back again," he added.
In addition, Zelensky said he is aware that the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas in Gaza may diminish Western countries' support for Ukraine. "I believe that this is exactly what the Russian Federation was trying to achieve, and I am sorry to say that they have achieved the result they wanted," he concluded.
