Zelensky: Russia does not have enough manpower

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky insisted on Monday that the numbers Russia lost in the five-month battle of Kursk show that the latter country does not have enough manpower to fight in all the necessary directions – Donetsk, Sumy, Kharkiv, or Zaporizhzhia.

"[W]e continue to maintain a buffer zone on Russian territory, actively destroying their military potential there," Zelensky tweeted. "During the Kursk operation, the enemy has already lost over 38,000 soldiers in this single direction alone, with approximately 15,000 of them irrecoverable losses."

Previously, Russia claimed that Ukraine lost 80% of its troops stationed in the east of the country.
