Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated on Friday night that in case the neighboring countries' decisions on grain restrictions are far from keeping unity, "Ukraine will respond civilly."
After having a call with President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, who communicated that the European Union canceled restrictions on Ukrainian agricultural exports, Zelensky emphasized the need to keep the European "unity on the bilateral level" and expressed hope Kiev's neighbors will "support Ukraine during the war."
His comments came after Poland, Hungary and Slovakia confirmed they will keep the Ukrainian grain ban in place after the EU's restrictions expired.
