Zurich Insurance adds ex-SNB chief Jordan to its board

Zurich Insurance Group announced on Thursday its nomination of former Swiss National Bank Chairman Thomas Jordan for election to its board of directors.

Jordan stepped down from the Swiss National Bank in September 2024 after serving as its chairman for twelve years.

During his tenure, he played a key role in steering Switzerland's monetary policy through major economic challenges, including the negative interest rate policies and the COVID-19 pandemic.
