Turkey will not give up on the investigation into the murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said, speaking at the Doha forum in the Qatari capital. Earlier, the minister stated Ankara would ask the United Nations to assist with the investigation. "We haven't received any new information or outcome of the investigation from the Saudi side," Cavusoglu pointed out. "Turkey will not give up on this, we will go to the end," he added.

Earlier this week, the United States Senate passed a resolution stipulating Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman is "responsible" for Khashoggi's death. However, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo stated that the investigation into Khashoggi's murder is still being conducted and that no evidence has been found proving bin Salman's involvement.
