The Australian government is placing additional sanctions on Russia in response to Moscow's military operation in Ukraine, the nation's Foreign Ministry said.
With the latest measure, Australia will "prohibit the supply, sale or transfer of certain luxury goods directly or indirectly to, for use in, or for the benefit of Russia," according to the Ministry.
The ban is effective April 7.
