United States President Joe Biden urged on Tuesday Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to change his government. "He is a good friend, but I believe he has to change," the US head of state said.

Speaking at a campaign fundraising event in Washington, DC, Biden remarked that due to the indiscriminate bombing Israel is "starting to lose support," and its government is making it "very difficult" for the international community to continue to stand by its side.

The US president further underlined that the Israeli prime minister cannot say "no" to a Palestinian state in the future. Meanwhile, previously, Netanyahu said that Israel and its allies were not agreeing on who should take control of Gaza once the war ends.
