United States President Joe Biden will dismiss his predecessor Donald Trump's comments on his age and how it affects him doing his job as head of state in his State of the Union speech, CNN reported.
"My lifetime has taught me to embrace freedom and democracy. A future based on the core values that have defined America: honesty, decency, dignity, equality. To respect everyone. To give everyone a fair shot. To give hate no safe harbor," the parts of Biden's speech CNN saw read. "Now some other people my age see a different story: An American story of resentment, revenge, and retribution. That's not me."
Biden will deliver the State of the Union address at 9:00 pm ET. Meanwhile, Trump implied he would comment on the speech on Truth Social.
