China says Tsai brought danger to Taiwan

China's Taiwan Affairs Office (TAO) spokesperson Zhu Fenglian blasted President Tsai Ing-wen's role in the latest crisis between the two countries on Wednesday.

"Tsai Ing-wen brought danger to Taiwan. Tsai Ing-wen almost completely sided the United States, pushing Taiwan into stormy seas," Zhu said while adding that the drills around the island were "a serious warning against the collusion and provocation of Taiwan independence separatist forces and external forces."

The news comes after several days of Chinese military exercises and heightened tensions between the two sides.
