China's manufacturing grows in September - official data

The Chinese manufacturing sector activity reached growth territory in September, the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing said in a report on Friday. The official NBS Manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) stood at 50.1, compared to 49.4 in July, exceeding expectations that put it at 49.7.

Meanwhile, the Non-Manufacturing PMI dropped from 52.6 in August to 50.6 in September. The Composite PMI stood at 50.9, down from 51.7 the previous month.
