The United States Department of Justice uncovered that former US President Donald Trump and his team may have attempted to conceal classified documents at the former president's Mar-a-Lago estate.
The DoJ court filing released Tuesday showed that prosecutors obtained a search warrant for the Florida estate after receiving "likely" evidence of obstruction of justice.
"The government also developed evidence that government records were likely concealed and removed from the Storage Room and that efforts were likely taken to obstruct the government’s investigation," Justice Department counterintelligence chief Jay Bratt said.
