Drone attacks on two Saudi Aramco facilities sparked massive fires early on Saturday, which have since been brought under control by the company's security teams.
"At 4:00 am the industrial security teams of Aramco started dealing with fires at two of its facilities in Abqaiq and Khurais as a result of... drones," the Ministry of Interior said in a statement. "The two fires have been brought under control," it added.
The incidents at facilities in Abqaiq and Khurais are the latest in a series of drone attacks on Saudi Aramco's plants. The company's Shaybah oilfield was the target of another drone attack back in late August, the responsibility for which was immediately claimed by the Houthis.
