United States Vice President Kamala Harris tested positive for the coronavirus on Tuesday, press secretary Kirsten Allen announced in a statement.
"She has exhibited no symptoms, will isolate and continue to work from the Vice President’s residence," reads the statement, adding that she has not been in contact with either the President or the First Lady "due to their respective recent travel schedules."
The text adds that she will follow CDC guidelines and the advice of her doctors. Vice president Harris will be back at the White House when the tests are negative.
