Hezbollah claimed on Monday that two of its operatives were killed when Israeli forces launched a drone attack targeting two vehicles in southern Lebanon, bringing the militant group's death toll since the beginning of the clashes with Israel to 383.
Meanwhile, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said that a barrage of rockets was fired from Lebanon at the Gomeh Junction area, but all of them fell in open areas.
On Saturday, Hezbollah rockets launched from Lebanon killed 12 people, including children, in the Golan Heights. Following the strike, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant ensured that his country will take retaliatory actions, while Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned that Hezbollah will pay a "heavy price." Meanwhile, Israel's security cabinet authorized both officials to decide on the "manner and timing" of the country's response to the attacks.
