Yemen's Houthi rebels issued a statement on Friday taking responsibility for the attack on Saudi Aramco's facility in Saudi Arabia's city of Jeddah.

The statement, issued in a thread of tweets, also confirmed that the group has launched attacks on two Aramco refineries, and on targets in the regions of Jazan and Najran, as well as on Riyadh's other "vital facilities."

"We will not hesitate to expand our military operations until the aggression stops and the siege is lifted," the statement stated.
