Jeremy Hunt has been reappointed the United Kingdom's Chancellor of the Exchequer, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak confirmed on Tuesday.
Earlier in the day, a series of members of former Prime Minister Liz Truss's government left their positions, including Business Secretary Jacob Rees-Mogg, Justice Secretary Brandon Lewis, Minister of State at the Cabinet Office Alok Sharma, Levelling Up, Housing and Communities Secretary Simon Clarke, as well as the Conservative Party's Chief Whip Wendy Morton and Chairman Jake Berry.
Sunak officially took over the prime ministerial role earlier in the day when King Charles III formally asked him to form a government.
