Indonesian FinMin calls G20 event 'difficult'

Indonesian Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati said the G20 event convened by Indonesia in Washington was "difficult" after a walkout staged by several nations to protest Moscow's military operation in Ukraine.

Although they faced challenges, the official noted the participants did not lose focus of the meeting. "Many members condemned the war as unprovoked and unjustifiable," she said, adding that the protest of the United States, Britain and Canada did not surprise being that Russia took part in the event.
