Nasser Kanani, a spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, stated on Monday that the process of freeing United States prisoners held in Iran might take up to two months.
Earlier this month, the United States and Iran reached an agreement under which 5 Americans, currently detained in Iran, will be freed in exchange for the release of $6 billion in Iranian assets frozen in South Korea.
In addition, the ministry's spokesperson revealed during the press conference that there are 'no plans' to arrange talks with Washington on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly or "anywhere else."
