The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced via its X social media page its air force attacked "hundreds" of Hezbollah targets in Lebanon, including rocket launchers, headquarters, and military facilities.
Israel's military said the strikes were carried out "in several areas in Lebanon" with the local media reporting that air raids were launched at sites near the town of Mayfadoun and Zoutar.
In addition, the IDF stated it attacked some 1,600 Hezbollah targets "in southern Lebanon and in the Bekaa area deep in Lebanon in several attack waves" throughout the past day.
