Israel blames 'Iranian axis' for arson attacks in France

Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz claimed on Friday in a post on X that the latest targeting of the French railway network was "executed under the influence of Iran's axis of evil."

"As I warned my French counterpart [Stephane Sejourne] this week, based on information held by Israel, Iranians are planning terrorist attacks against the Israeli delegation and all Olympic participants," Katz wrote.

He said that "preventive measures" must be taken to stop Tehran's alleged plans.
