The ceasefire agreement between Israel and the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah will go into effect tomorrow morning, Israeli media revealed on Tuesday following reports that the Israeli security cabinet has approved the deal.
In the pre-recorded address, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu outlined three main reasons for implementing the ceasefire agreement, stating that this could be used as an opportunity to replenish Israeli weapon stockpiles and to "separate the fronts and isolate Hamas."
The prime minister stated that Israel would "respond forcefully" to any attempts by Hezbollah to attack the country in violation of the ceasefire agreement.
