Israel's High Court of Justice issued on Friday a temporary junction that freezes the dismissal of Shin Bet chief Ronen Bar (pictured).

The order is expected to last until a court hearing on the issue is conducted. The court shared that it will hear the petitions against the Shin Bet head no later than April 8.

Earlier, the Israeli government voted in favor of removing Bar, who would be allowed to stay in charge until April 10 at the latest. Bar commented on the ruling, calling it "fundamentally invalid."
