North Korean Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un said on Monday that an intrusion by South Korea of even "0.001 millimeters" would be perceived as a provocation of war, KCNA reported.
The supreme leader insisted that Pyongyang's build-up of force is for self-defense purposes and not for "unification by force." At a parliamentary meeting, the country decided to scrap its agencies dealing with inter-Korean relations, with Kim reiterating that Seoul should be labeled as the "No. 1 hostile country" in the Constitution.
Kim also repeated that he has no intention of going to war, but won't avoid the conflict if it comes to it. He added that such an event would "destroy South Korea" and deal an "unimaginable defeat" to the United States.
