United States National Security Council (NSC) Coordinator for Strategic Communications John Kirby stated during a press briefing on Friday that there was currently no evidence to suggest Ukrainian involvement in the attack on a concert hall in Moscow.

"There is no indication at this time that Ukrainians were involved in the shooting in Moscow," Kirby told reporters. "We do not encourage or enable Ukraine to strike inside Russia," he added.

According to Russian media, several gunmen entered a large concert hall near Moscow and opened fire on the crowd using automatic weapons. The incident resulted in an unspecified number of deaths and injuries.
