At least three camouflaged individuals started shooting in the Crocus City Hall in the Moscow Oblast on Friday, Russian media outlets reported.

According to Ria Novosti and TASS, evacuation is currently underway. Ria noted that people were injured following the incident. In addition, a fire broke out in the building after an explosion, with emergency services dispatched to the scene.

Meanwhile, TASS shared that the perpetrators potentially used machine guns. No more details were provided, with law enforcement officials trying to work out what had happened.
