Israel claims Hamas violated pause

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) claimed on Friday that Hamas violated the operational pause and fired toward Israeli territory. They did not provide further details but they confirmed that combat against Hamas in the Gaza Strip has resumed after a seven-day ceasefire.

At the same time, Hamas reported that Israeli artillery and drone strikes are targeting areas in central and southern Gaza, while Israeli warplanes bombed an area in northern Gaza.
