Liverpool Football Club (LFC) secured its first domestic title in 30 years after Manchester City lost to Chelsea on Thursday and enabled the Merseyside club to become the new English champion.

This is Liverpool's first Premier League title ever as the competition launched in 1992. Since Manchester City currently trails the Reds by 23 points with seven games left to go, Juergen Klopp's team has mathematically clinched the title.

Liverpool has won 28 games, losing only once and drawing twice and needs 15 points to break the single-season Premier League points record, set in 2018 by Manchester City.
