French President Emmanuel Macron "fully stands by" his remarks on the Taiwan crisis, BFMTV reported on Wednesday. "We are not a follower of the United States for a simple reason which is that the president wants European sovereignty," a diplomatic source said. "We are allies of the United States, reliable, solid, committed allies, but we are allies who decide for ourselves."
