Former United States Vice President Mike Pence announced his withdrawal from the upcoming presidential race set for the following year on Saturday.

"It's become clear that this is not my time. Let me promise you, I will never leave the fight for conservative values," the 64-year-old Republican said at a conference of the Republican Jewish Coalition in Las Vegas.

Minutes earlier, Pence accused President Joe Biden of being responsible for the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7, highlighting that for a "peaceful world" and American national security, the United States must make sure that Biden "will never be reelected president."
