Moscow says Putin and Xi talks in Beijing 'successful'

Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov told VGTRK that Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping had "successful" talks in Beijing.

The discussions took place in a friendly and positive atmosphere, leading to a better mutual understanding, according to Ushakov.

Putin visited China from May 16-17, with formal talks at Beijing's Zhongnanhai government residence on May 16.
