United States billionaire Elon Musk negated on Friday claims that Former US President Donald Trump encouraged him to take Twitter Inc. private.

"This is false. I've had no communication, directly or indirectly, with Trump, who has publicly stated that he will be exclusively on Truth Social," Musk wrote on Twitter.

In a separate tweet, Tesla Inc.'s founder asserted that, if the acquisition of Twitter goes as planned, the company will be "super focused" on software engineering, design, and server hardware development.
