North Korea has been providing Syria with materials that can be used to make chemical weapons, media reported citing UN probe. The New York Times reported that supplies include acid-resistant tiles, valves and thermometers, as well as technicians.
An unreleased document compiled by the US Panel of Experts said that the delivery of components was part of at least 40 previously unreported shipments to Syria in period 2012-2017.
CNN and AP, as well as Yonhap also reported on Pyongyang weapons trade with Syria and Myanmar whom the North allegedly supplied with ballistic missile systems.
