North Korea sent another batch of trash-filled balloons across the inter-Korean border overnight on Monday, Yonhap reported, citing the South Korean military.

The 310 balloons were filled with plastic and scrap paper, with no toxic material added to the mix, according to the Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS).

This move marks the resumption of Pyongyang's "tit-for-tat" balloon campaign that started on May 28, due to anti-North leafleting by activists in South Korea.
