Napoli win 2-0 against Frankfurt in CL knockout stage

SSC Napoli won 2-0 its match against Eintracht Frankfurt in their Champions League round of 16 contest at Waldstadion in Frankfurt, Germany, on Tuesday.

Victor Osimhen capped off a fast counterattack by the visitors with a tap-in in the 40th minute. Seven minutes after Frankfurt's Randal Kolo Muani got the red card, Giovanni Di Lorenzo doubled Napoli's lead with a left-foot strike from just inside the box in the 65th minute. Notably, the German squad's goalkeeper Kevin Trapp saved a penalty shot by Khvicha Kvaratskhelia in the 36th minute.

The two teams will meet again in the second leg on March 15 in Naples.
