Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's cabinet meeting today has been relocated from its usual sites at the PM’s office and army headquarters due to heightened security concerns, Hebrew-language media report, including Kan.
According to the media, the change is effective immediately, with new protocols implemented for cabinet meeting locations.
Earlier, Ynet news site reported that today’s meeting is taking place without ministerial aides, who were informed at the last minute about the change. Ministers were also advised they could not enter the building armed. The new measures follow a reported Hezbollah drone attack on Netanyahu’s private residence earlier this month, and the Israeli strikes on Iran during the weekend.
