Netflix Inc. has made significant progress in its advertisement-based plan, as the number of monthly active users surpassed 23 million, the company's President of Advertising Amy Reinhard said.
"We're very fortunate to be able to take a long-term perspective on this," Reinhard stated at the Variety Entertainment Summit at CES 2024 in Las Vegas. She added that 85% of Netflix subscribers with ad-supported plans spend more than two hours a day on the platform.
"We know there's a lot of work to do on our side, but we're all about learning and iterating and working with our advertising partners to figure out, 'How do we grow this business in a meaningful way?'" Reinhard concluded.
